Daddy Rabbit
A couple of years ago Raindave sent me some plans for the Daddy rabbit. I made up a number of sets of the plans and sent a couple of sets to my friend/pen pal/building buddy in NY, Dan4. He built it right away and I had too many things going on, a move to another state, planes for customers and friends. Dan kept at me so this year I pulled out a set of the plans and opened up my wood boxes and went at it. Dan talked me into building it as stock to the plans as I could force myself to do, I must say I haven't made too many changes. I still have a long ways to go but it's getting closer to finish sanding and glassing every day. Today I managed to gouge out the inside of the turttle deck. I did install a micro servo for the throttle and a micro servo for the front steering. I have the front steering servo slaved to the rudder. It was just easier then running more linkage. These shots were just taken yesterday to show Dan what I was up to, the controls are just being held loose with the hinges.
Thanks a bunch for the plans Dave, just wanted you to know they weren't wasted, just took me a little longer then usual.
