I failed to mention what size carbon laminate was used:
1) two pieces 0.007" x 1/2" x 48"
2) one piece 0.021" x 1/2" x 18
The last time I ordered the following sizes. They are big enough to do both Q-40 and Q-500 size models

I don't think the size is critical so if you already have similar sizes use them instead.
