Default RE: OFFICIAL RAZE ST OWNERS THREAD

Well i found out what was wrong, The engine is running and pretty much broke in, scratch and all! there is a lot of clanking and clicking in this engine called the tech support people and they said that its the type of engine and that its got something to do with the starter used. OH WELL. Other then that im having a blast with this thing, put about 10 tanks thru her and shes getting pretty fast. I did blow a glow plug thanks to my 3 year old who turned up the heat on the plug dial in my field box. Oh i did hit a mailbox head on at full speed and bent the aluminum shock tower, but it can be bent back i think. AND the front left wheel fell off because i forgot to check them. Found the 17mm nut put it back on and check all the other ones found a few loose. Its strange tho that they dont include a wrench for the glow plug or the wheels. On the note of the servos i find the one that is used for steering to be quite good and strong, i can sit it on the table and move the wheels both ways 100% in the grass it doesnt do to bad either. Throttle servo seems fast. I got to warn u guys tho that breaking in the engine in the beginning this truggy is slow, but does get hella fast the more you lean it out. On the issue of glow plugs what would you guys recommend? I want something cheap and reliable. THANK GOD its not a turbo head. I have been running Byrons 20% Nitro 12% Oil for break in, what do you guys think about that? I also have some odonnells 30% and some Trinity monster 20% 12% castor oil. I think i may try the Trinity next. What do you guys think? How can you tell when fuel is bad? Well i work 3rd shift so ill be back on once i get there lol. until then here are some pics
