Default RE: DL-50 engine

ORIGINAL: Moki 1.8

guys check this out, I bought a new xoar prop, I took my time and balanced it properly, I bought a new NGK spark plug and put in the engine. Now it seems like the motor lugs down when I run it. Before I had the factory plug and was running a Pro Zinger prop and it was powerful. I have the oil mixed at 32:1. Why in the world would it all off a sudden do this? I thought buying a better prop and plug was going to help. I have a lil over one gallon through it, I know its still in the break in stage, but what im concerned about is, it wasnt running like this with the other stuff. Yall have any ideas?
The plug is def an improvent. They last longer. Like Jody said, you have more of a load with the Xoar than the Zinger. Time to re-tune. You didn't mention the prop pitch and diameter but even if they are the same the Xoar will load the engine more. It's a stiffer prop and probably has fatter paddles. The Zingers just flatten out at high RPM's which unloads the motor...hence the high RPM's you were seeing.
