No. That would make it worse. The issue is the motors are really designed to run up to full throttle, when you're running around slowly, you're "loading up" the motor and it bogs. If the motor had a mid-range needle, I'd lean it a bit, but since it's a traxxas, I'm pretty sure it's a 2 needle carb. I would say just change to better tires when off-roading so you can get traction and use more throttle, since the stock jato tires are garbage off-road.....maybe lean out the lwo end just a
