Default RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

Hi rich52mag,

e30pq put his battery pack under his tank. I put mine on top of my fuel tank (see erif_f post #213 - [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=8530094]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=8530094[/link]).

Like e30pq, I had to put some weight on the nose to get it to balance out. I used a 1oz Great Planes spinner weight ([link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXK245&P=7]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXK245&P=7[/link]). I'm not sure if I had to do this because I put the optional cowl on or not, but since e30pq has the same engine and same balance method, I'm guessing it's just how it balanced out.

By the way - here are a couple more pictures of my plane with the optional cowl that a friend of mine took in the sun. I still think it looks really good.
