The mid Tigers have the new style cupola like the Panther tanks. They also relocated the headlight to the center of the frontal armor. The air cleaners are also gone. othe differences are pistol port modifications and i believe the engine covers may have changed. I'm sure there are othe differences but can't think of them all at the moment.
