Will apreciate your help:
We have down here in Guatamala 6 Kits of your planes for SSC combat, but can´t get them to fly well.
They are pitch sensitive and my friends can´t controll them.
Since they were send to build don´t now what was the final configuration on C.G and and movement of surafaces.
Questions:
What is the the desing incidence of wing and stab to the fuse.?
Where is the C.G on the wing?
What are your recomended movements of flying surfaces for the first flight?
equipmente on planes

Hi John,
If it's not flying well there must be something out of place or else malfunctioning. The Battle Axe should be very maneuverable and agile at full-stick throws, yet fly like a normal sport plane if assembled as per the instructions. The causes we've seen of an AXE being sensitive on the trim or changing trim is either a servo that is not secured (allowing the control surface to move) or a radio that is malfunctioning (transmitter, receiver, or bad battery pack).
The wing should sit directly on the wing saddle. For first flights set the maximum throws to 1/2" (13mm) up and down. In fact, we don't normally specify a recommended CG because if everything is done per the instructions, it should balance every time. However, if it balances far from the spar, something is in the wrong place.
If you'd like to e-mail me some pictures I'll see if anything looks out of place so we can get you in the air and chasing some streamers.
