Everyone I know uses Futaba or JR. I have never even seen an Airtronics radio in person. I agree with the above statement. I would recommend whatever most at your field use. Not only will buddying up be easier, but most questions can be answered also. If I was asked how to use/do something with an Airtronics radio, I would have no idea. The Futaba 7C however, I would be able to answer almost any question.
