Hello all:
I have finally managed to talk my brother-in-law out of his trainer.
The trainer is about 10 years old, and never been flown.
I am really worried about the batteries. They do not seem to hold a charge.
The receiver battery is Futaba P.Pack NR-4J and the transmitter has a P.PACK NT-8iB.
The closes thing on Tower that I have found is for the receiver is NR4M and for the transmitter is an NT-8iB.
But neither one is a P.PACK.
As you might guess, my question is will these batteries be ok?
What should I be paying close attention to?
I am trying to do things right, I am going to join the AMA, the local flight club and get an instructor.
I am just trying to get everything ready for the pretty days.
