RE: RDS 8000 vs Futaba 7C
Airtronics makes a really good product. I have been real happy with my RDS8000. I have two of them. I like the way it programs. All features for the channel are listed under the channel. So if you want to change the elevator end points, you scroll over to the elevator, then scroll down until you see EPA, then adjust until happy then make sure you check the epa for both sides. You can set the value for say up elevator up to 150% and the setting for down elevator can be set to 80% To pick up or down just move the stick. The arrow will change from pointing up or down.
All of my Airtronics have been good radios. I have over 500 hours on my RDS6000 and just under 500 on my other RDS6000. I am sure the RDS8000's will out last them.
