Firestormwolf76, send an email to the eBay seller and ask him the channel of the radio. You may as well get started buying your receivers, batteries and servos right away, this hobby will break your bank account sooner or later, so you might as well jump right in
For 72 I always buy the previously linked Hitec Supreme IIS 8-Channel FM Autoshift DC. I've never had a problem with Hitec receivers, but I have had possible issues with Futaba. If you buy this receiver from Tower go to the bottom of the page under Tech Notes and follow the link to the correct crystal and choose the correct channel.
Find a good instructor to teach you to fly, and perhaps supplement real flying with a sim.
