RE: GP Cessna 182 Skylane Engine Fitting Question.
Hi: One thing I will share with you is don't use the hardware that came with it and get the Robart 654 nose gear. I used Robart 1/8 point hinges and 3/4" metal control horns on the control surfaces and went with 2-3/4 tires. There are threads that say the same thing about the hardware. I took there advise and am a better piece of mind now. It is a great looking plane but I wish CMP used better hardware. I did use the double push rod for the Elevator because that is good and stiff. That's just my 2 cents worth. I am just about done with mine then it is onto the Great-Planes 1/4 scale P17 Stearman.
