Yes, in the Rockwell trim (stock P-51) it would creep away from the stock YS 110S when they were fed 20/20. The gold class, tweaked, god knows the nitro content,..... well that may be another story.

I looked at pitch speed too Danno. It seems to be well exceeding it. The “Speedboy” phenomenon is back. The 11X8 @ 16K is much faster than the 10X9 @ 16.3K go figure.

I was all done and ready to fly all I had to do is check the C.G. It was 3/8” off , nose heavy.

So I moved the battery from the LE of the wing and strapped it to the top of the wing at the TE just over the servos. Still a tad nose heavy.
Apparently my mods to the tail feathers and fuselage made it lighter aft.

Dang! That would be quick! The tuned pipe would be half as big around as the fuselage LOL
