I had also thought of the Kadet Senior. Great flying plane and with a light LA engine, it would be a hoot to fly slow with. And, if you're looking for something to kit-bash, the Senior falls out of the box almost half modified. I've got two seniors and they both fly great, even though I've got a .91 4-stroke on both of them. I had a 50 Saito on the one when I first got it. That LA should do just about the same. I have a thread running on modifying my last senior and a youtube of my first senior flying. We extended the chord on both planes and took a lot of dihedral out of the wing. I suggest a Senior at every opportunity!
