Having no idea what a pistix is, I guess the answer is no. One other thing I did was to cut the skeg off the bottom of the strut with a pair of sidecutters, then filed & sanded it flush. Less drag & better cornering is the result.
EDIT, I just googled pistix & no i didn't need one. My M11 transmiter has a dead band function & arc function that I used to dial out the negative input.
Cheers
Jason.
I bought the PiStix (used) because I wanted to use my Pistol radio with the Phoenix 25 (aircraft esc). I have heard some people say that they use one, and some say that they don't need one. If I can dial out neg. input on my radio, I will just leave the Pistix out.
Also, I don't need to cut the skeg off of my strut. I have the Sollinger unit which has a rounded bottom.
Thanks for the info Jason! I am open to every bit of info/ ideas that anyone has!
