Looks Great. I have one myself. Get the recommended modded prop and they are an awesome thing.

Thanks GRANT ED! Did you run the X632 S/B as is, or was yours detounged? Was the diameter changed as well? I think I will run the stock prop that they give you with the kit first and then move to my X632 (Also have a couple other plastic Y props I got from OSE to try as well).

NICE BOAT!!, Grant & I both run the X632 B/S and detongued. They really do scoot along with that prop, but you must watch the temp of the ESC & especially the motor. They can heat up really quick. Make sure you get the Turn fin curve lined up parallel with the bottom of the hull (to stop lift if angled up or sucking if angled too low) & make sure all the running gear is square & as described in the manual. I had to put a very slight toe in on my turn fin to get the boat to track straight, but testing will show if you need this or not.

You will love this little rigger. Good luck.

Thanks dicko! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge! Hopefully this will run great. I have taken my time with this build (started around Christmas 08) and have made sure all has been built as square and true as possible. Did you use a PiStix? I have one but have heard that it may not be needed. ??

Having no idea what a pistix is, I guess the answer is no. One other thing I did was to cut the skeg off the bottom of the strut with a pair of sidecutters, then filed & sanded it flush. Less drag & better cornering is the result.

EDIT, I just googled pistix & no i didn't need one. My M11 transmiter has a dead band function & arc function that I used to dial out the negative input.

Cheers
Jason.

I bought the PiStix (used) because I wanted to use my Pistol radio with the Phoenix 25 (aircraft esc). I have heard some people say that they use one, and some say that they don't need one. If I can dial out neg. input on my radio, I will just leave the Pistix out.

Also, I don't need to cut the skeg off of my strut. I have the Sollinger unit which has a rounded bottom.

Thanks for the info Jason! I am open to every bit of info/ ideas that anyone has!
