I had a friend do the Wheel pants after ruining three of them. They are a pain in the rear if you follow the instructions.

You could probably mount the engine sideways however you would be dealing with it sticking out the side of the cowl since this is a thin plane. I use a Saito .56 on mine and it doesn't stick out of the bottom.
