Finally got this resolved. Called the customer support number on Hobbyzone.com, got transfered to Horizon's Fsone customer support. Had to leave a message, but they did call me back and sent me a new cable Fed ex. It looks just like the one linked above, but with the round Futaba plug instead of the square.

FYI, Don't waste your time trying to use the Fsone.com customer support link, evidently no one follows up on messages and they will not respond.
