What I plan to do is Drill the 1/8 ply Sheer for the dowels and then add some 1/8 ply to the front of the front spar (turbulator). The dowels go just below the leading edge and are epoxied to both plates. The center section will be sheeted also. I generally use carbon Fiber for the dowels. I take a pic of it when I get that far. As I look back at the wing design I think the wing would be a lot torsionally stronger if built via a "D" tube construction.
