This bird is very similar to my Midwest Cap 232 in size and weight. And by using a 2 stroke you will be on the lite side. This means you will have a very nice flyer that will out perform anything you have flown before.
The only tip I have to offer is I believe you should have your Elevator on a Dual rate switch for your maiden and have the low rate set to only 11 to 12 degrees of travel. The Elevator setup on a Cap is very powerful and doesn't require that much movement for effective control...

I also agree..
One thing to do is set up your expo's big time.
I use :
Rudder 25% low rates 50% high rates
Aileron and Elevator 35% low rates and 70% high rates.
This is just my preference.. That way I can flip to high rates and I don't over control, feels like low rates around center stick
I know alot of people going 3X the amount of high rate expo to the low.
Again .. this is what works for me.. I'm sure everyone does thier own thing.
