Default Car Not Responding, What Could It Be?

Hey guys, having some problems with the car, and came here to see if you could help. Well, this past summer the car was running great. Until one day, I turned on the transmitter, and then the car would not move. After about 10 sec. though, it moved and ran fine. Then, it did it again, but for 1 min then it would go. Now it is to the point where it wont even go at all. I noticed the esc light blinking when it usually stays solid red, but I couldn't imagine it being that.

In the manual, there is a section that tells you how the radio signal is transferred to the car. It goes: vehicle-transmitter-receiver-steering servo-electronic speed controller-battery-steering system-motor- differential system-transmission system.

My idea was the receiver. I just hope it is not the steering servo or esc, since it seems like a real bear to do. At least the receiver is a piece of cake, at least from what I see.

So now that brings me to my question, what do you guys think is the problem. It's getting annoying not being able to use the car. It runs great once it gets going though, this is the only thing holding me back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
