I picked up some Evercoat today which was darn near white ( a little more towards egg shell) and the hardener is pure white. I think this will work for what I'm doing.

Ian, white gel coated plane with seam lines. Finish color will still be white but I don't want to fill all the rivets and details in the skin. With this white filler, I should be able to go over it with a little coat of paint only, no primer to hide the filler.

It's all about preserving the sharp detail that came out of the mold.
