ORIGINAL: speed lover

I took my Axial out the other day and the bearings came out of their casing into the engine and destroyed it whilst at around 3/4 throttle the head piston and liner are destroyed and there are not many bearings left in the casing but lots of metal in the crankcase very dissapointed DON'T BUY AXIAL 32 rubbuish. I have lots of aeroplane engines cheap MDS engines old boxer twin ROSS engine from the 70's and upto date Saitos and have never seen this happen infact I have still to wear them out. Even my Macstar still goes. The Axial only had around 2 1/2 to 3 gallons through it plus the breakin fuel.

I have looked around and am a little confused now I have seen 2 novarossi engines I hope you can advise me one is a 28 plus 3 port engine and the other is the 528xr engine the price is the same but I cannot get the specs for the 28 plus 3 port engine are the specs the same or is it just a low spec engine. I also seen a Picco P3 engine are these engine any good and which would be the best.

Using "break in" fuel is a myth. You should break in your engine with the fuel your going to be running the engine on.

Sorry to hear about your Axial mate. That truely SUCKS !!
