Joe
I will re-tune this Sunday at the field with a 22 x 8 on it and check the RPM, do you think the DL-50 can provide sufficient thrust for IMAAC aerobatics at 19 lb Wt.
Junaid
You should be getting about 7200+/- RPM peak on that prop.
The DL-50 with stock exhaust has plenty of power for IMAAC on that plane.
Hi Joe
I re-tunned and checked the RPM, max I could achieve was 6750 RPM cant lean any more than that, RPM begin to fall after 30 secs or so. Plane flys much better than with the 22 x 10, however still needs a bit more thrust for IMAAC, I guess I will need to reduce the weight. I am still using the Chinese plug that came with the DL-50 can that be a problem or is it the high ambient temperature/low air density effect.
I'd get an NGK CM-6 if you can find one. That RPM is very low. Not sure why it would be so low.
