Default RE: reversing y harness?

I just had to go out and set these up to see something for myself, I have one of those gray thoughts floating through my brain, it's sort of a lost memory of things done in the past. For one reason or another I have set up a plane this way. Why I would I haven't a clue and it may just be a random thought and never really happened?[&o]
Anyway, both servos are facing the same way, I just set up one control rod on the high side of the arm and one on the low. I set up the arms so the throws were equal or close to it then went into my radio and set them closer with sub trim, it works but there is a problem!!
Linear control arms they aren't!!
Would I do it this way?? NO!! But I am showing it can be done, it just isn't right. I would never set up a nice 1/4 scale anything up this way. I have a 9ch radio and I don't need to be doing things like this. I don't like Y harnesses but if it's a cheap plane go for it, if not then quit fooling around and buy a nice little JR match box if your radio hasn't got the correct mix.
