alright guys let me start with this, last sunday I fly a bird with the engine on her and she was sputtering during flight and then called for a mayday landing which resulted in a blown bird " fixed already." I thought it was the glow plug so I changed her out and tonight I can get it up to 1/2 throttle and she dies hummmm??? I removed the auto restricter on the needle valve and to no luck will it run correctly so i'm at a loss for words. ANY AND ALL ADVICE WELCOME !!!!!! evolution .46 nx never will I buy another 1 nothing but problems mind you the engine has had appx 3 tanks throught it and the engine seems to get kinda hot "ER" than normal
A lot of times it can be a problem with the plane (not a bird, don't know how to get a engine mounted to a bird) . tank location and a little more info can bring in some help, if they see something we know about, its like if I have that plane I may have had a similar problem.
I have a Evol .46 and it runs great, I have heard they are hard to set the carb. I will see if I can get the info and get back.
