Interesting thread,

I too am looking for that "perfect" field box. I currently use a smallish tackle box for my tools, parts and glow driver. I then carry a shoulder bag with my battery, starter, bands, cleaning supplies and fuel pump. Finally, I have to carry the fuel jug separate...

I want to consolidate everything, or as much as possible. However, I live in an upstairs loft style apartment, I climb two flights of stairs to come or go. Whatever I use CANNOT be too heavy, or too cumbersome for this climb. As it is right now, to load the car with my flight line gear and my planes takes 3-4 trips up and down the stairs. Since I live 5 minutes away from the field, (Yes I am spoiled ) I literally spend more time loading that I do getting there!
