Running a battery until it is almost totally dead is a big no-no. Even for lipos. When you notice it starting to lose considerable power and punch is when you should stop using it, let it cool down, discharge on a tray and then recharge. I don't use lipos yet so I don't know if after each use you should balance it and then recharge.
