I don't think it is a matter of doubling the firewall as much as it is re-gluing the firewall in. Sounds like it had a rough landing and the firewall is loose.
Looks more like the firewall cracked, the way it buckels. not like its come apart at the edge of the firewall. I have to inspect it closer. it wasnt obvious where the problem is.
The more experienced guys confirmed it has to be addressed.
