Really, the escapade isn't bad and it shouldn't be underpowered, one guy ripped the wings off in a dive with a 46 ax in the nose, so the 40 should be good for it, the GP cherokee is good but if you want to venture into 3d, yes, find a 25 sized 3d machine and stick it in there, if you want a decent flying plane that teaches you power management but flies crisp clean lines, get the GP extra kit or US40 kit. If you want a comprimise, get the ne GP extra in the 55 inch size, but that is outside your price point, so I vote the escapade then the extra, then the US40. But that is just my flying preferences.
