Default RE: Ugly Stick Build

It was probably too windy that day as well, but Ihad to get that flight in. I had already waited an extra week!

CG is right on the Spar. It's probably as far back as it should be, but other than wanting to climb, it felt fine.

I once flew a park flyer about a 1/4 inch too tail heavy, and the tail would drag around the turn. I didn't notice that at all on the stick. The park flyer was balanced on the spar as well. After that flight, Ilooked closer and found it was supposed to balance on the front edge of the spar. Amazing what a difference that little bit made in that small plane. Ihad to hold full down elevator the whole flight.

Stick took about 2-3 clicks of down trim and was fine.

I'll try out 30% expo before moving the clevis out. Thanks for the tip. Itried to setup the aileron differential by offseting the control arm slightly. Anyway, they seemed ideal. They are just a little slower than the 4*60. (Mind you, I'm not practicing the pattern yet, so Imay get pickier later on.)
