Glad you like the door ,as to the canopy Ive already made it powered { pics on bottom of 23}Heres another one I didnt post at the time.Cable is wound round drum pulling shuttle back and forth operating the canopy through a connecting pin.

Hey Nudge, that pilot looks quite ok. I havent visited Dave's web site for a while so hadnt seen his pilots advertised like that. I think they are made out of plaster but could and may well be wrong on that.
Mate concerning your top canopy rail,, it looks like it isa slotted square tube with a lip so what ever slides inside can not come out is that correct?
Mine has a totally open top with no lip and I was wondering why it was like this. I will have to screw down a keeper plate along it's length to secure the rear of the canopy. What are your side rails like? are they slotted as well? Mine are not. They are the same as the top rail.

Mate, I have checked your pictures again and yes indeed your rails are what I would have expected canopy rails to be like. Looks like I dipped out.
Maybe my conversion kit is from an earlier run. Maybe Leo will let me know?
