Ernie, Notice in the pics I notched the rear area. I did not go all the way through. Also what the pic does not show is my notch is run at an angle. In other words, the left side of the fuse shows no notch at all. Even without the stack the notch would be needed in my application. The carb would have been to close to the fuse to get a good draw.
On your servo question. I have never had one go bad from oil getting in it. Most of the electronics are in the lower half of the case. It would be very difficult for oil to get past the gars and do damage in the lower part of the case. Not saying it can't happen, but it would be difficult.
