Thanks Leo, Yes if you use the new rails it would be great. So using the movable canopy method with the wire sitting in the two holes in the front will this keep the canopy seated in flight ok or do I need to fix it at the rear for flight?

Fixing the two front points is all you need. If done right the canopy will bump the front windscreen at the top and that holds the back down. I put a very small plywood tab at the top of mine on the front windscreen to ensure that the hold down effect was always present. It has worked fine for 7 years.
I am not saying I am going to the new rails. I am just saying I have some and I am looking at them. I will probably try them on a Model "C" Mustang I am working on and see if I like them or not.
