I think maineflyer is correct about having reserve power but the plane you mentioned coming in at under 9 lbs should dook if the correct prop is used and the engine is tuned properly. About the onlyway you can pull more power out of these little gassers is with a pipe. When I run an APC 17X6 prop on my G26 it willhit about 9700 rpm. That's about as good as it gets. It's something you'll have to experience and see if you like the reserve power yourplane will have.The amount ofpull outa plane has may be fine for some and not enough for others. I guess it all depends on yours skill and your nerves.
