Sandor....
You might have something there....
The diagram in the book is 180 out...I set my system with the airlines as per the drawing and I was having a hell of a time getting the brakes to work. They would work with gear up but not gear down. I reversed the physical lines and now the brakes work properly. Perhaps i need to do the same with the door lines??? Can I reverse the valve sequence on the unit itself?
So, just so i am clear, when you have your gear up and doors closed and you boot the system it will automatically put the gear down but it opens the doors first? And if that is true if you boot the system with the gear already down you will still have the doors cycle anyway?
Sorry if my questions are stupid....I have been up way to late trying to get this bird finished!
Thanks for your help!
there are no stupid questions..
if you had your brakes working only in the up position it is a problem of reversing all airlines.
then program the pro valve with the reverse function inside.
i believe the manual shows you the correct sequense to connect all airlines.
the unit was developed also to NOT retract when switching on.
but this only works if you tell your failsafe to have gear down in failsafe situation (at least this is what i do)
i build my model up on the field , pressurerise the system then switch the rx on and the gears come out.
ps : make sure your airsupply is OVER the min failsafe!! otherwise you will get a gear down ! could be a weird error when setting up your model!
also do not forget put the door valve on the same supply as the gear otherwise if you have no more brake air and your doors are on that system.
the failsafe will lower the gear it wont care about your precious doors ;-)...
