Like Chad, I have it in my BARF and I'm using mode 2 (close nose door with gear down), and my valve does the same thing in Mode 2. I have not been around and had the chance to play with it yet to see if I can fix it. Since I only have the one door, I just opened the door before powering up. I agree, you shouldn't have to do something strange for it to work like you want. I'm sure Air Power can change the software to fix this easily. BTW, I have one of the very first production models, so maybe it is matter of when we got them. I know for sure, some programming was changed AFTER mine because of some irregularities in the programming that I found.

How old are the ones in question, F-18, Chad, Sandor?

Are you using mode 1 or 2? If mode 1, then that explains the difference, if mode 2, then we have problems.
