of the hundred or so I've trained I think just 1 didn't get it. Most people learn to fly very easily, it's not rocket science, but there is a learning curve. With foamies going out and trying your luck isn't a big deal, not to diminish the accomplishment, that rocks you were able to do it. it when you step up to a real trainer then more powerful planes. At that point the investment getting into the hobby is kinda high, 400-800 bucks and the models can really do some damage someone or something, and thats when I say it's to join a club and get training. It kinda like golf. Anyone can golf, with a little help you can golf ok very quickly and get pretty good after a couple month if you keep at it, at the same time you can do it your entire life and still find new skills, learn and get better.
