Yup it happens. Try a set of 1/8 buggy wheels and 17mm adapters. I hardly ever get anything stuck in mine. Look up a seller named Supra Sales on ebay. They have 1/8 buggy tires and wheels premounted and glued for around $14.99 a full set. They have fast shipping too. The 17mm adapters I use are the Traxxas adapters found at Tower Hobbies.
