Default RE: Starting in Jets

I'm just starting with Jets. Never too late or too soon. I'm actually looking into an engine for a particular model.

However, I've been building model airplanes since I was seven or so. I designed and built my first CL model when I was 15.

I've always built. designed and scratched models throughout the years, even through the years I owned real airplanes. Took my first flying lesson at age 18 in a taildragger.

Started RC in the late 70's. Although I do little flying, I'm still designing and scratch building to this day.

Yes, I'm considering Jets. Just considering. Gathering information about Jet power is my current goal for a particular model that I'm scratch building. A model jet I designed almost 27 years ago.

Yes, I believe it will work today, and with help from those many generous Jet pilots, I'll make it work.

At 63, I'm still looking forward to building new models I have on the drawing board, and finishing some that I've never completed. There's plenty of them.
