RE: Quadra 35cc Question
CasterTroy,
Align the prop so that the split between the two magnets is at 90 deg to the line of the prop. This is correct for spring starting the Quadra. My manual says back up the prop 3/4 revolution and release (with hand clear obviously). I usually back up close to but not quite a full turn. You do not have to worry about a spark with magneto ignition while backing the prop. It is dependent on velocity that is just not there. That is why you should never use a spring starter with electronic ignition. Don't need it anyway.
The only reason I can think there is a pressure nipple on the engine case is to run a pulse pump for a smoke tank. It is not needed otherwise. Plug it off.
Have fun!
