Default RE: starter box battery

No more expensive than a decent set of nimh packs.

The expensive part is the charger, but those can be had for a song if you look in the right places.

I paid $50 for my ProTek starter box pack last year, and I recently bought 2 4S 4000 15C packs off of eBay for $50 shipped to my door from Taiwan.

Here's another one for ya....

$57.94 plus $7.99 shipping=$65.93

You will spend $45-50 on 2 stick packs that won't last anywhere near as long or give anywhere near the performance.

It don't get any cheaper than that.....

This pack is a 20C pack. For $5 more you can get the 30C pack.

A little overkill, but whatever floats your boat.

The cheapest 3000 nimh stick packs that I could find were $25 each
