As was already mentioned above, I have seen static electricity do really crazy things, mostly on CF framed helicopters. I have seen first hand a CF framed heli sitting on the ground barely spooled up and all the servos started to just go crazy. Spraying some static guard on it solved the problem for a couple of flights. We ended up running a ground wire from the tail shaft bearing to the motor mount and it seemed to fix the problem. Just a thought as it could be something completely different.
