Bubbleless clunk[sm=confused.gif]? This is a new one for me on glow fuel.

When using a header tank like this do you guys start off with it full or somewhere around half full? Is it primarily to avoid the dreaded rich at full tank and lean near empty tank condition? What size tank? I've never run across (obviously never used) this set-up.[]
