The 5645 is a good servo. If you go to tower hobbies web sight you can buy gears for next to nothing.

If you have to replace gears every few years and can't afford the gear sets you should have bought a smaller plane.
AMEN Brother!!!!!! There are so many choices for servos. The only negative comment I can make is stay away from anything with the word KARBONITE attached to it. I speak from personal experience. Metal gears do tend to wear but only after a lot of flying. More hours than the average sunday flier will accumulate before signifcant wear is noticed.
