Did any of you have a problem with the center of the elevater hitting the tailwheel bushing even after cutting a slot in the center of the elevater? If so, how did you fix it? Mine is hitting on it and I cut a big slot in the elevater and I still can't get it to deflect to the recomended high rates(38degrees). also wondering if it would work to just cut it in half and glue it back together with a piece of wire.
