Default RE: 16' Rigger

Hi Christo,

I added two pictures of a custom made mount in my son's Monohull.
It's made out of 6 mm aluminum strip, with a Ø 3,3 mm hole drilled through the top.
These holes were widened, 10 mm deep, to Ø 4 mm and I glued in two pieces of 4 mm aluminum tubing with Locktite.

The KB 36-60-09L 2700KV motor, used in this set-up, tends to run rather hot, so every little bit helps.
The water through the mount comes directly from the ESC, and it cools down the front of the motor considerably.

I have the same set-up in my boat, and my motor, with just the cooling jacket, is hotter after a run, so I'm preparing the same for that one.

Regards, Jan.
