I wouldn't worry about landing it in a tree. You can probably just buff it out anyways!! Man that plane has sure took a beating already. Oh well. Go find it and sweep up the pieces take out the good stuff and start over. Good luck!

The area around Paul's field looks overgrown enough to make the "arrival" survivable.
I'm sure it'll be OK.

Last week, an INSTRUCTOR at Two Tree Island in Essex, where I fly, decided to look at the windsock and then lost his P40 Warhawk during the base leg. Inevitable stumpf into the bundu and although it was 400 yds away, and a load of us saw it go in, it took 6 of us about 1/2 an hour to find the model. Damage? Broken prop and one undercarriage leg wrenched out of the wing!

Still, I reckon Paul could invest in:
(a) a second model
(b) a lost model "shrieker" or two
