first scratch build
I apologize for the crappy pics, but herethey are.. A little explaination: Length-23.5", Beam-7.5". Frame is 1/8" birch plywood, skinned in 1/32" birch plywood. Everything is "tacked" together with CA, and I am about to add a doubler to the inner transom and veneer the outer transom(with epoxy resin), add a couple of strakes, fill the gaps inside with epoxy resin and filler (talcum), then water proof the rest of the inside with thinned epoxy. Im on the fence about how to finish the hull on this thing, will thinned resin be enough to strengthen the thin skin on this, or will it require fiberglass? I have quite a bit of experience with fiberglassing around tight bends and corners, and wetting out the glass (thinned epoxy) and laying it without air gaps, but I HATE working with it. Anyway, enough rambling heres the pics!

I think the V might be too shallow for rougher water, the V gets shallower towards the rear.. What do you guys think about using a 1/16" wire surface drive and a 540 size brushless in-runner and lipo? Any hardware suggestions? Im really only wanting it to go 25-35 mph on smooth water.
